I am looking to employ on PAYE (or hire on UTR) an AP/ Appointed Person - lifting operations in construction with a CPCS card, preferably someone who also have worked as slinger in the past in the facade/ glazing side of the construction industry.
The ideal AP/ Appointed Person will have to carry out site surveys, write lifting plans (conforming to all health and safety standards and regulatory requirements), get them approved by the client or/ and Main Contractor and. The AP will be responsible for the execution and safety of lifting operations.
The AP will have to communicate with the management and the slingers/ Crane Supervisors team in a clear and concise manner via the relevant documentation and forms of instruction.
- You will be expected to WALK ON SITE to provide site supervision in order to prepare the lifting plans (and sometime adjust the existing method statements, risk assessments, etc.)
- You will need HIGH communication skills, HIGH Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Power Point) skills, a positive non-arguable/ fighting attitude, be motivated and be able and WILLING TO WALK ON SITE, to work alone or in a team
