Koya 'Izakaya Porutogaru'
"An izakaya (???) (Japanese: [izakaya]) is a type of informal Japanese bar that serves alcoholic drinks and snacks.”
Koya - the traditional udon noodle bar - is running two “Izakaya" nights in February with renowned Portuguese chef Leandro Carreira (of Mugaritz, Londrino, and The Sea The Sea) - Portuguese and Japanese cuisines coming together for two nights only. With dishes such as Salted Cod Mocchi and Rice Dashi, Kombujime Cuttlefish with Coriander Tanuki, salted berries.
Koya head chef, Gustavo Tavares and Leandro, both from Portugal, will join forces, with Portuguese wines by Renato Costa.
Koya City | Sunday 9th and Monday 10th Feb | Seatings 6:00pm and 8:30pm.
