Juntos means Together in both Spanish and Portuguese, two of the main languages the conquistadors exported from Europe to what they named, and we now know as the Americas and the Caribbean. Our journey as Juntos starts with standing in solidarity with the Brazilian and South American defenders of the Amazon, but we also stand with the global South and its diaspora around the world to help decolonize and create a language that knows no borders, race, class, or gender.
On Saturday 7th December we’ll be hosting a solidarity party and fundraiser in support of indigenous communities in Brazil, whose territories and very lives are being threatened.
We'll be raising money through creative campaigning, music and dance. So come support and skank ouuut for a good cause!
